Hotel Jvl Plaza & Hotel Lohmod

You can find us over at E-75C in Tilak Nagar, right in the heart of New Delhi. Managing both Hotel Jvl Plaza and Hotel Lohmod keeps us on our feet pretty much all day and night. Tilak Nagar is a really crowded place with the big markets nearby, so there is always something happening right outside our doors. We spend a lot of time checking people in, making sure the rooms are tidy, and talking to the kitchen staff about breakfast. It is not a quiet job by any means. The traffic on the street can be a bit much sometimes, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping for clothes or food. Our office is a small room off the main lobby where we keep the ledgers and the keys. It is a bit cramped but it works for us. We see all kinds of people coming through, from families to folks traveling for work. We try to keep things simple and honest. The building itself has been here for a while, and we are constantly fixing little things like leaky taps or flickering lights. It is just the way it is with older properties in Delhi. We do not have a big team, just a few of us who have worked together for years. We know the local chai walas and the rickshaw drivers around the 18 area pretty well. It is a busy life but we are used to the noise.
