Hotel Ashoka(The Capitol),Newdelhi

Our office is on the first floor at A1/49 in Gurgaon, even though the name mentions New Delhi. It is a bit of a funny thing that happens with businesses around here. We are actually on the Haryana side of the border. Being on the first floor means we see people walking by on the street all day. It is not a very big space, just a few rooms where we manage the hotel business. Most of the time we are on the phone or working on the computer. The area around A1/49 is pretty typical for Gurgaon, with a lot of construction and people moving around. We have a small sign outside so people can find the stairs to come up. It is not a polished corporate headquarters. It is just where we work and handle the bookings. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy from the traffic below, but we are used to it by now. We spend a lot of time organizing the daily tasks for the hotel side of things from this office. It is a lot of paperwork and talking to staff. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just come in, do the work, and go home like everyone else. It is just a regular office where we try to keep things running smoothly without too much fuss.
