Hotel 32Nd Milestone

We are over here at 519 in Saraswativihar, which is right in the Chakarpur part of Gurgaon. It’s a busy spot but we’ve been here for a bit now. The building is what it is, nothing too fancy, just a place for people to stay when they are passing through or have work in the city. Some days the traffic outside is a real mess, especially during the morning rush, but that's just Gurgaon for you. We spend most of our time making sure the rooms are tidy and the water is running right. It’s a lot of small things that keep us busy all day. People come in at all hours, sometimes tired from a long drive or a late flight. We try to keep things quiet enough so they can get some sleep. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we first started out here. There are more shops now and it’s getting more crowded every year. We just keep doing our thing every day. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to fix the generator, or someone loses their key and we have to find the spare. It’s not a glamorous job but it keeps us on our toes. We know the local guys around here and where to get the best chai when we take a break. That’s pretty much the life at Hotel 32Nd Milestone. We’re just local people running a local spot and staying busy.
