Our office is on the ground floor of the Unitech Trade Centre in Sushant Lok, Phase I. Being in Sector 43 means we’re right in the thick of Gurgaon. It’s a busy building, lots of people coming and going from different companies. We’ve got a decent space here, but it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of paperwork. Honeywell International India has a lot of different things going on, so the phones are usually ringing and there’s always someone running to a meeting. It’s not like those fancy tech offices you see in magazines with bean bags and games. It’s more of a place where you sit down and get through your list for the day. The ground floor location is nice because we don’t have to wait for the elevators, which can be a real pain during the morning rush. Sometimes we go out to the nearby shops for a quick lunch, but mostly it’s just sandwiches at the desk. The air conditioning is always humming, and there’s a lot of talk about projects and deadlines. It’s a practical environment. We have our routines and we stick to them. Traffic in Gurgaon is always a topic of conversation around the water cooler. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed enough so we don't get stressed, but there's always a lot of work to be done before we head home in the evening. It is what it is.
