Our office is at D 16 in Sushant Lok 2, Sector 56. It’s a quiet residential-turned-commercial area in Gurgaon. Harchit Chugh And Associates is basically a small firm where we handle accounting and legal paperwork. It’s not the most exciting work, but someone has to do it. We spend our days looking at numbers and filling out forms. The office is quite simple, just a few wooden desks and a lot of filing cabinets. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the people on the block. We aren't the type of place that has a receptionist in a suit. Usually, one of us just looks up from our desk when someone walks in. We deal with tax seasons and audit reports, which can get pretty stressful around certain times of the year. During those weeks, we stay late and eat a lot of takeout from the nearby shops. We don’t have any fancy mission statements hanging on the wall. We just try to make sure the math adds up and the forms are filed on time. It’s honest work. Most of our clients are local business owners or families who need help with their finances. We talk to them like regular people because that’s what we are. There’s no need to make things more complicated than they already are with legal talk. We just want to get the numbers right for everyone and keep things moving.
