Gurgaon Haryana, India is the name we use, but our actual physical location is quite far from there. We are based in Chiengkonpang, at the P O Churachandpur in Manipur. The pin code here is 795128. It is a bit of a strange situation having a name like Gurgaon Haryana when we are actually in Manipur, but that is how it was registered. Life here in Churachandpur is very different from the big cities. It is much quieter and the air is different. We work out of a small building near the post office. Most of the people around here know us as the local office. We don’t do much fancy marketing or anything. We just handle the business that comes our way from this part of India. The office is pretty basic. We have a few chairs and a couple of old desks. It can be a challenge getting supplies delivered all the way out here sometimes. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing things down by hand. It’s a very manual process most days. We are just a group of people in Chiengkonpang doing our best to keep things moving. Even though the name says Gurgaon Haryana, India, we are very much rooted here in the hills of Manipur. It is a simple life and we just take it one day at a time, making sure the local paperwork is handled properly.
