Ground Staff

You will find us over at Room Number 72 inside the Sheetal PG. It is located on Sheetla Mata Road in Rajiv Nagar, which is a part of Gurgaon that never really seems to sleep. Being ground staff means our lives are mostly about schedules and being on our feet, so this room is really just a place to crash after a long shift. The road outside is always full of cars and people heading toward the temple or the market, so there is a constant hum of engines and horns. It is a simple setup in a typical PG building. We share the space and keep our things tucked away in corners. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low in the mornings when everyone is trying to get ready at once, but we make it work. Living and working out of Rajiv Nagar has its challenges, especially when the dust gets everywhere during the dry season. We spend a lot of time just planning out the commute and making sure the uniforms are clean. There isn't any corporate polish here, just a bunch of people trying to get through the day and get some rest before the next early morning call. It is honest living in a small room where the walls are a bit thin, but it is home for now while we do our jobs.
