You can find us at C-2299 in Sushant Lok, specifically in Ase-4 near the DLF area of Gurgaon. While Gurgaon is full of those massive glass buildings and corporate headquarters, our spot is a bit more down-to-earth. Google Pvt Ltd is run out of this office, and it’s a place where we actually do the work ourselves. We don’t have a bunch of managers in suits walking around. It’s usually just us in our regular clothes, sitting at our desks with our tea mugs. The office has been here for a while, and we’ve filled it with books, folders, and some plants that we try to keep alive. The commute through Gurgaon can be pretty rough with the traffic, so we all have our own little routines for getting here on time. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just know what needs to be done each day and we do it. The neighborhood has some good spots to eat, and sometimes we go out together for a quick bite, but mostly we’re just focused on the tasks at hand. It’s a busy life, but it’s a good one. We like the fact that our office feels like a real place where work happens, rather than some sterile corporate environment. It’s just a practical space for practical people who want to get their work finished and go home.
