Filmi Masala Indian Restro & Bar Dlf City Centre Gurgaon

We’re based out in IMT-Maneser, which is a bit of a drive for some, but it’s where we do our thing. The name on the door is Filmi Masala Indian Restro & Bar, and we try to live up to the name without being too over the top. It’s funny because we’re associated with the DLF City Centre in Gurgaon, but our actual daily grind happens here in the industrial area of Haryana. The kitchen is usually a chaotic mess of spices and steam. You can smell the onions frying from the parking lot. We get a lot of workers from the nearby factories coming in for a quick bite or a drink after their shift ends. It’s a loud place, especially when the music is going. We don't have any of those fancy tablecloths that you're afraid to spill water on. Our tables are sturdy and built for people who actually want to eat. Sometimes the floor gets a bit sticky if it’s a busy Friday night, but we mop it up as soon as we can. The bar side of things stays pretty lively. We’ve had the same few guys coming in for years, sitting in the same corner. It’s nice to have regulars. The traffic in Manesar can be pretty rough, especially with all the trucks, but once you’re inside, it feels different. We’re just a bunch of people who like cooking and serving drinks.
