You can find us up in Shimla at a place called Sharma Niwas. It is located in Vijay Nagar which is near the B.C.S area. Working in the mountains is definitely different than being down in the plains. The air is thinner and it gets quite cold in the winter months. We are based in a house rather than a big office tower. It gives the whole place a different feel. We have our computers and phones set up in the rooms and we spend our days talking to people and sorting out travel details. The view outside is usually pretty good though the mist can hide everything sometimes. We have to deal with the mountain roads and the slow pace of things when the weather gets bad. It’s not always easy to get around but we like the quiet here. Our neighbors are mostly local families and we try to be good members of the Vijay Nagar community. We don't have a big sign out front or anything like that. It’s just a regular building where we do our work. Most of us walk to the office or take the local buses. We keep things simple and just focus on the tasks at hand. It’s a steady way to live and work. Shimla has a way of making you slow down even when you have a lot of work to finish.
