Our office is located at house number 629 in Sector-23 of Gurgaon. If you know Haryana, you know how fast things change in this city, but Sector-23 has stayed more or less the same for a while. We are Exprditors International, though the building doesn’t look like some massive global headquarters. It’s just a regular place in a regular sector where we handle a lot of logistics and shipping details. The phone never seems to stop ringing and there is always someone coming in with a delivery note or a question about a crate. We have a lot of files and maps pinned up to the walls to help us keep track of everything. The air conditioning is always running because the Gurgaon heat is no joke, especially in the middle of the year. We have a small team here and we all pretty much know what the others are doing. It’s a busy atmosphere but not in a stressful corporate way, more like a busy kitchen where everyone has their own job to do. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we all complain together while we wait for it to come back. We grab our food from the local market nearby or just bring stuff from home. It is a practical way to run a business and it suits us just fine. We’ve been at this address for a long time and the locals know us well.
