We run the cinema here on M G Road in DLF Phase II. It’s been here for quite some time, and you can kind of tell by the way the carpets look in some of the halls. We spend a lot of time sweeping up popcorn and picking up empty soda cups after the big shows let out. The lobby gets really crowded on Friday nights, and it can get a bit loud with everyone talking at once. We have several screens, some bigger than others. The projectors are old but they still work fine for the most part. We have a small staff who handles the tickets and the snack counter. It gets pretty hot behind the counter where the popcorn machine is. Sometimes the elevators to get up here are slow, which makes people a bit grumpy before the movie even starts. We try to keep the temperature in the theaters cool, though some people always complain it's too cold while others say it's too warm. It’s hard to please everyone. We see a lot of families on the weekends and couples during the weeknights. It’s just a regular movie theater where people go to see whatever is out. We don't have fancy reclining seats or anything like that, just the standard flip-down ones. We change the movie posters in the glass cases every Thursday night after we close up. The lightbulbs in the hallway burn out sometimes, so we always keep a ladder nearby. It is just a local spot for a movie and nothing more.
