We are over at 1253/1 in Dyanand Colony. If you know Gurgaon, you know this area can get pretty crowded, especially in the evenings. This Domino'S Pizza isn't one of those massive, fancy ones you see in the big malls. It’s more of a local spot for the people living around here. We’ve got the ovens going most of the day. The smell of the dough and the sauce is just something we've gotten used to after all this time. Sometimes the floors get a bit sticky when it’s busy, and the phone doesn't stop ringing, but we just keep moving. Dyanand Colony has a lot of families, so we see the same faces quite often. We aren't trying to be anything other than a place to get some food. The bikes are always coming and going from the front, trying to beat the traffic, which is never easy in this part of town. The staff here are mostly local guys who know the shortcuts through the side streets. It’s not a glamorous job, standing on your feet all shift, but it’s honest work. We don't have a big corporate feel inside; it’s just the crew trying to get the orders out. Sometimes we run out of something or the delivery takes longer because of a block in the road, but we do what we can. It’s just how things are at 1253/1. We've been here for a while and we just keep the lights on and the food moving.
