The office we have here in Rail Vihar, Sector 56, is where we handle a lot of the local things. It’s not a huge fancy skyscraper like some people might expect when they hear the name. It is actually just a regular spot in Gurgaon where the staff comes in every morning, gets their chai, and starts looking through papers. We’ve been at 33/2C for a bit now. Most days it’s just the sound of keyboards and people talking on phones about different plots or maintenance issues. It gets a bit dusty outside because of all the construction nearby, which is just how Gurgaon is these days. We have a few desks and a lot of files stacked up because things move fast here. Sometimes the internet acts up and we just sit around talking until it’s back. It’s a pretty normal workplace. We know the neighbors and the guys at the gate. People drop by to ask about their papers or just to see what’s going on with the latest projects in the sector. We don’t have any fancy lobby or anything, just a door and some chairs for people to wait. It’s practical. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad unless the rain floods the road again. We just focus on getting through the pile of work on our desks and making sure the records are where they should be. It’s honest work and we keep at it day after day.
