Dlf Ltd, Gurgaon

This is our office located over in Bhoor Colony in Old Faridabad. We are in House No. 998/2 on Gali No. 1. It is a bit like a maze trying to find this place if you are not from around here. We handle things for DLF from this side of town. It is very different from the big shiny towers you see in the main parts of Gurgaon. This area is much older and it gets very crowded during the day. We have stacks of files and old paperwork piled up on the shelves. People often come in with a lot of questions about their property papers or other documents. We just sit at our desks and try to sort through everything as best as we can. The ceiling fans hum all day long. It is a very lived-in space. Sometimes you can hear the neighbors’ kids playing right outside the window while we are working. We have been here for a long time and we know most of the shopkeepers on the main road. The work is very practical and straightforward. We do not have a big fancy reception area or anything like that. There are just a few chairs for people to sit on while they wait for us to help them. We just try to keep all the records straight and help whoever walks in. It is just another day at the office for us.
