Our office is situated at 25/137 in Shakti Nagar, Delhi. This part of the city has a lot of history and the streets can be quite narrow and crowded. It’s a far cry from the big shiny malls, but it is where we handle our development business. We have been in this building for quite some time now. The walls are a bit plain and the furniture is old, but it works fine. Most of our time is spent looking at plans and talking to contractors. There is always a pile of paperwork on the main table that needs attention. Shakti Nagar is a place where everyone seems to know everyone else. You can hear the traffic and the street vendors right from the windows. A big fancy lobby isn't something we have here. Visitors usually just walk straight in and find someone to talk to. Developing homes in a city like Delhi is a lot of work and involves a lot of back and forth with different people. We don't try to make it sound more exciting than it is. It’s really about brick and mortar and getting the right permits. Sometimes we are out on site and the office is empty except for one person answering the phone. Being in this part of town feels real to us. It’s not polished, but it’s home. We just keep doing our bit to get houses built. It’s a steady kind of life here in the 110007 area. We stay busy with the local projects day by day.
