Our office for Devyani International Ltd is over in Laxmi Bai Nagar, specifically in the Railway Colony at 31/1. It’s a very established part of New Delhi with a lot of history. Being in a railway colony means there’s a certain feel to the neighborhood—lots of old trees and a bit more space than you find in the newer parts of the city. We are quite close to the tracks, so you can sometimes hear the trains in the distance. The office is always humming with activity. Since we deal with food and restaurants, there is always something happening, whether it’s a new menu or a supply issue. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s a good place to work. We have a lot of people coming in for meetings or just to drop off papers. The address 110023 is right in the heart of things. We’ve been at this location for a while and we have seen the city change around us. The heat in Delhi during May and June is tough, but we have our coolers and we keep going. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or trying to look corporate. We just focus on the brands we manage and making sure the stores have what they need. It’s a big operation but we try to keep the atmosphere in the office friendly and grounded. We just do our bit every day.
