Our office is located in Palam Vihar at C1-33. It is a fairly quiet part of Gurgaon if you compare it to the rest of the city. We handle the online travel distribution side of things. That basically means we spend the whole day looking at computer screens and talking to different agents on the phone. Sometimes the internet connection slows down and everyone in the room starts getting a bit annoyed. We have a small team working here. We do not have any of those fancy coffee machines you see in movies, just a basic electric kettle sitting in the corner for making tea. We help coordinate travel services for a lot of different places. It involves a lot of back and forth emails. The neighborhood is mostly just houses, so it is a peaceful environment to work in. We usually walk out to the local market when we need a break or some snacks. The work is steady enough. We handle a lot of bookings and we have to deal with cancellations too. It is more work than people think when they hear about it. We have been in this building for a few years now. We just focus on the tasks we have and try to stay on top of all the messages. It is just a normal office doing its thing every day. We are not doing anything grand, just keeping the business moving.
