We are tucked away in Neelkanth Apartment over in IP Extension. If you know Delhi, you know this part of town is pretty packed with people and traffic. Our office is more like a small room where we keep all the files and the computer stays on all day long. Sri Raghubir Singh is the main person here, and we just handle the day-to-day bookings for trips. It is not like those big internet travel sites where you never talk to a person. Here, the phone rings and we actually pick it up. We do a lot of tours, mostly families wanting to see places or people needing to get to the airport without a fuss. The desk is always covered in printouts and old maps that we should probably throw away but we keep them just in case. It is quiet usually, unless it is holiday season, then it gets a bit frantic with people calling about train tickets being waitlisted. We have been in this building for some time. There is a tea stall nearby that we visit way too much during our breaks. We just help people get from one place to another without making it complicated. No fancy brochures with fake smiles, just a list of prices and timings. It is a small operation, just a few of us sitting around the table making sure the dates line up. Sometimes the printer jams right when we need it most. That is just life in a small office.
