Out here in V.P.O. Duloth Ahir, things move at their own pace. We are based in Mahender Garh, and if you know this part of Haryana, you know it gets incredibly dusty when the trucks start rolling. Our office for Delhi Gujarat Fleet Carrier Pvt.Ltd. isn't some fancy glass tower. It is a practical space where we keep our ledgers and talk to drivers all day long. Most mornings start with a lot of noise as the engines warm up. The tea guy comes by around nine and that is usually the highlight of the early shift. We spend a lot of time on the phone, trying to figure out where a shipment is or why a truck is stuck near the border. It's a lot of coordination between here, Delhi, and the various spots in Gujarat. The weather in Haryana can be pretty harsh, either way too hot or biting cold in the winter, so the ceiling fans are always going. We have been in this spot for a while now, and everyone in the village knows when we are busy. There is always someone coming in to ask about a delivery or just to sit for a minute. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the daily work, managing the fleet, and making sure the paperwork is filed correctly before the sun goes down.
