Our office for Delhi Assam Roadways Corporation Ltd is located in Siwani Mandi. Specifically, we are at Vashisth Bhawan in Ward No. 3. This is Sh. Rambilash Sharma’s place, and we’ve been here in the Bhiwani district of Haryana for quite a while. Being in a Mandi area means things are always moving. There are trucks coming and going, and plenty of dust in the air. We don't have a corporate office with leather chairs. It’s more about logbooks, keys, and talking to drivers who are heading out on long trips. Siwani is a small place compared to Delhi, but our work reaches far. We handle the transport side of things, making sure stuff gets from one point to another without too much trouble. It’s hard work and the hours are long. My family has been involved in this for years. We know the roads and we know the people. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when the rains hit Haryana, but the trucks have to move anyway. We sit here in Ward No. 3 and keep track of everything on paper and sometimes the computer when it behaves. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we do. People in the village know us as the transport folks. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just have our reputation and the physical work we do every single day. It is just simple transport work from Siwani Mandi.
