Customer Service

We are located in Gurgaon. It’s a big city and we are just in one of the many office buildings here. We don't have a fancy name for the building, just a floor where we all sit. The desks are lined up in rows and everyone has a headset. It’s pretty much what you would expect from a place that handles calls and emails all day. There is a small break room in the back with a microwave that makes a weird clicking sound. We spend eight hours a day listening to people and trying to type out answers. The carpets are a bit worn out from all the chairs rolling back and forth. We have a few plants on the windowsills that we forget to water sometimes. Gurgaon is always noisy with traffic and construction, so we keep the windows shut tight. We aren't a huge corporation with a thousand rules. We are just a group of people who show up and try to get through the queue of messages. Some days are busier than others. When the systems go slow, we all just take a collective breath and wait. It’s a very standard office life. We have a bulletin board with some old photos and a calendar that is a month behind. It is a practical space where we do our work without making a big fuss about it.
