We are located at Plot Number 24, 30-266/2 in Deendayal Nagar. It’s a quiet enough part of Old Safilguda here in Secunderabad, though the roads can get a bit tight when everyone is heading to work. Our office for Csav Group India is where we handle a lot of the logistical stuff. It’s mostly desks and computers, people looking at shipping schedules and making sure the numbers match up. It isn’t the kind of place with a fancy lobby or free coffee machines. We just have our desks, some old filing cabinets, and a water cooler that everyone congregates around. The air conditioner struggles a bit when the Andhra Pradesh summer really hits, but we manage. Most of us have been working together for a while, so there’s a lot of shouting across the room instead of sending emails. It’s just easier that way. We spend the day talking to people at the ports or coordinating with trucks. Sometimes things go wrong with a shipment and the atmosphere gets a bit tense, but usually, it’s just steady work. We take our lunches together at the small shops nearby. It’s a practical way to run a business. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. As long as the paperwork is done and the cargo is moving, we’re satisfied with how things are going. It’s just a normal office in a normal neighborhood.
