Crowne Plaza Today Gurgaon (Intercontinental Hotels Group)

Our office is located at 91-G, Pocket-K in Sheikh Sarai, Phase-Ii. Even though the name of the place mentions Gurgaon, this New Delhi address is where a lot of our administrative work happens. Sheikh Sarai is a busy neighborhood, and our pocket of it is usually humming with activity. We’ve been here for quite some time now. The office itself is pretty standard—desks, chairs, and a lot of computers that seem to need updating more often than we’d like. We handle a lot of the background details for the hotel operations from here. It’s a lot of spreadsheets, phone calls to suppliers, and coordinating schedules. It’s not the most glamorous side of the hotel business, but it has to be done. We usually have lunch together at our desks or grab something from the local shops nearby. The commute can be a bit of a pain depending on the traffic on the Outer Ring Road, but that’s just life in Delhi. We don’t really have any big corporate mission statements hanging on the walls. Instead, we have calendars with deadlines circled in red and sticky notes everywhere. It’s a practical space for people who are just trying to get through their to-do lists. We’re not trying to impress anyone with the decor; we just want to make sure the work is finished by the end of the day. It is just how we run things.
