Crown Tours Limited is based out of the village and post office area of Thada, which is in the Pratapgarh district. Being in a village means things move a bit slower than in the big cities. Our office is just a simple room in a building that has been here for years. We don't have any shiny glass walls or modern art hanging up. Instead, we have some old wooden desks and chairs and a few cupboards where we keep our records and papers. We spend our time helping people in the local community figure out how to get to other places, whether it is for work or visiting relatives. Most of the time, people just walk in from the village to ask questions about bus routes or train tickets. We have one or two computers that we use when the power is steady enough to keep them on. It is a very hands-on job, often involving a lot of talking and explaining things to people who aren't used to booking online. The road outside is mostly dusty, and you can hear the sounds of the village all day long, from tractors to the local market noise. It is just a few of us running the show here. We don't have a big marketing budget or any fancy flyers. We just rely on being known in the village and the surrounding Tehsil. It’s a quiet life, but we stay busy.
