Faridabad is a tough place to work sometimes because of the traffic, but our office here is where everything happens for us. Convergys India Services has been in this spot for a good while. Inside, it's mostly rows of desks and people talking into their microphones. It gets loud during the peak hours when everyone is on a call. We have a small break room where the coffee is usually lukewarm, but we drink it anyway because the shifts can be long. Some of us come in when the sun is setting and leave when it’s rising, which is a bit strange for your social life, but you get used to it. The building itself is pretty standard for Faridabad, nothing too flashy on the outside. We have to deal with the occasional power cut, though the generators usually kick in pretty fast. You see a lot of people tired from the long commute on the local buses or the metro. It's just a regular workplace where people are trying to get through their queues and help out whoever is on the other end of the line. We don't really do big speeches or fancy events. Most of the time, we are just focused on the screens in front of us and waiting for the next weekend to roll around so we can rest and spend time with our families.
