I’ve been working out of this space at 103/71 Silver Oaks East for quite some time now. It’s tucked away in DLF Phase in Gurgaon, which is usually a pretty active area. My office isn't very large, just enough room for a desk, some chairs for visitors, and all the files I have to keep track of. Being a consultant means I’m usually on the phone or sitting across from someone trying to figure out a problem. I don't really have a big staff, so if you call or come by, you’re usually talking directly to me. The building itself is okay, it has its quirks like the elevator being slow sometimes, but it serves its purpose. I spend a lot of hours here, often staying late when a project needs more attention. It’s a practical setup. I chose this spot because it's convenient for people to get to, and it’s not too noisy most of the time. There is always something to do, whether it is answering emails or looking over documents that need sorting. I don’t believe in having a flashy office because that doesn't really help with the actual work. It’s just a regular room where I get things done. People seem to appreciate that it's straightforward here. Gurgaon can be a bit overwhelming with all the big glass buildings, so having a small, normal spot like this feels better for the kind of work I do.
