Consultant

Danoda Kalan is our home. It is a village in the Jind district of Haryana. We work as a consultant out here, quite far from the rush of the big cities. It's a different pace of life altogether. You see the tractors going by and the seasons changing in the fields right outside. We operate from Narwana tehsil. People around here know us by name, which is how things work in a small place. It's not about big office buildings or elevators. It's about sitting down and talking through things properly. The air is definitely better here than in Delhi. Our setup is very basic. We have exactly what we need, which is a sturdy table, some chairs, and a phone that rings more often than you’d think. Being a consultant in a place like Danoda Kalan means you deal with all sorts of things. It's not always formal. Sometimes a neighbor just stops by because they saw the door open and they want a bit of advice. We spend a lot of time just keeping up with the local news and the paperwork that comes with this kind of work. It’s quiet in the afternoons, especially when it’s hot outside and everyone is taking a break. We’ve been here for a good while and the address hasn’t changed. It’s just the V.P.O. office. Nothing fancy. We don't have a marketing team. Word of mouth is how most people find out what we’re doing. It’s a honest way to work.
