We are the Conservation Corporation Of India, and you can find us at C-32, Sushant Lok-1 in Gurgaon. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the rest of the city. We work on things related to conservation, which basically means we spend a lot of time on projects that most people don't think about every day. It’s not always easy work. There’s a lot of planning and looking at maps and talking to different people about the environment. Our office in Gurgaon is where we do most of our brainstorming. It's not a huge corporate space, just a practical one with enough chairs for the team. We’ve been here for a bit now, and we’ve seen how much Gurgaon has grown. Sometimes we wonder if there's enough green left with all the new buildings going up around us. That’s why we do what we do, I guess. We aren't trying to save the whole world overnight, just doing our small part from our corner here. People stop by sometimes to ask what we are working on. We try to explain it simply without using too much technical talk or jargon. It’s just a group of us who care about how things are being built and kept up. We keep things pretty low-key. No big signs or flashing lights, just our name on the door and a lot of work on our desks. We stay busy with it every single day.
