Clipper Tourism is tucked away at A-338 in Palam Vihar. It’s a much quieter part of Gurgaon than the big office hubs. We’ve set up shop in what feels more like a house than a corporate office. There’s a small sign outside, but you might miss it if you aren't looking. Inside, it’s a bit of a mix of old travel posters and stacks of files. We spend our days booking trips and sorting out itineraries for people. It’s a lot of talking on the phone and waiting for confirmations. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of workers. It’s just a few of us who know the travel business well. The office has a bit of a lived-in feel. The carpet is a bit worn in spots, and the desks are crowded with folders. We don't have a fancy lobby with a waterfall. We have a couple of chairs for visitors and a tea kettle that’s always on. Most of our clients are people from around here who have been coming to us for years. We like the personal side of things. It’s not always smooth sailing, especially when flights get canceled, but we do what we can to fix it. We don’t have any big speeches about our vision. We just want to make sure the tickets are right and the hotels are booked. It’s a simple way to run a business, and it works for us.
