Our office is situated on the second floor of a building in U-Block, DLF City Phase III. If you know Gurgaon, you know how busy U-Block can get with all the people living and working there. CEC International Corporation has been based here for a good while now, specifically at 51/29-30. It’s an easy walk from the Rapid Metro, which helps because parking around here is almost impossible. We do a lot of international project work, but our daily life is very local. The office is pretty standard, with desks, a small pantry, and lots of folders everywhere. We aren’t some high-flying corporate group with a lobby full of marble; we’re just a team working on infrastructure and engineering details. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so we just take the stairs. It’s a productive environment, though it gets a bit loud when the construction nearby is going on. We have engineers and office staff who have been commuting here for years. We just focus on getting our drawings and contracts right. It’s not glamorous, and the Gurgaon heat can be tough in the summer, but we get the job done. We like being in the middle of DLF because everything we need is right there. It’s just a regular, hard-working office in the heart of Haryana.
