Carnival Corporation

Carnival Corporation operates from Flat No 270, Pkt 7 in New Delhi. It’s funny because when people hear the name, they think of big ships and oceans, but we are just here in a residential pocket in Delhi 110085. The office is basically a flat that we’ve turned into a workspace. It’s got a kitchen where we make way too much chai and a living room filled with filing cabinets. The neighbors probably wonder what we are doing in there all day. It’s a quiet neighborhood compared to the main roads. We spend a lot of time on the computer handling things for the company. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters with a lobby and a receptionist. You just ring the bell and someone lets you in. We have some posters of cruise ships on the walls to remind us of what the business is actually about. Sometimes the sunlight comes in through the balcony and it’s actually quite nice. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big office. We just need a place to sit and work. The 110085 area is home to us now. We know the local shops and where to get the best samosas for our afternoon break. It’s a small team and we get along okay most of the time. It’s just how things are for us here in India. We usually leave around six and the flat goes back to being just a regular part of the building.
