Carlson Wagonlit Travel

We have been here in Gurgaon for a while now. Most days are just spent at the desks looking at flight schedules and trying to sort out hotel bookings for people who need to get from one place to another. It gets pretty loud in the office sometimes with all the phones ringing. We aren't a huge team but we keep busy. Mostly we just deal with the usual travel stuff like tickets and itineraries. Some days are smoother than others. When the systems go down, it’s a bit of a mess but we manage. People come to us when they need to go somewhere for work or a trip and we just try to get it done. The Gurgaon office isn't anything fancy. It's just a place where we show up, drink too much tea, and look at computer screens all day. We’ve seen the area change a lot since we started. Sometimes travelers call us late because they missed a flight or something went wrong at the airport, and we have to see what we can do to fix it. It's not always easy but it's what we do here. We just handle the logistics of getting people to where they need to be without making a big deal out of it. It’s a lot of paperwork and back-and-forth emails, but that’s just how the travel business works on the inside. We stay here until the work is finished and everything is settled.
