Best Western Resort Country Club, Gurgaon

Our office is over in Shakurpur, right on the Ring Road at M/52. It is a busy area of New Delhi, always noisy with the traffic passing by at all hours. Even though the company name mentions Gurgaon, this spot in Delhi is where the back-end stuff happens. We have a small team here sitting at desks, dealing with bookings and the usual office grind. The Ring Road is always jammed, so getting here in the morning is a bit of a struggle for most of us. The office itself is pretty plain. We have some old filing cabinets and a few computers that have seen better days. We do not get many visitors here because most people go straight to the resort, but we stay busy nonetheless. It is a lot of talking on the phone and typing out emails to keep everything moving. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit around waiting for the backup to kick in so we can finish our work. Shakurpur is a crowded place, very different from a resort atmosphere, but it is where we work. We usually eat lunch at the small dhabas nearby. It is just a normal workplace with normal problems. We try to keep things moving so the people at the actual resort do not have any issues. It is not a glamorous setup, just a lot of bricks and mortar on a very busy Delhi street. We have been in this building for a long time now.
