B.D Trading

We are at House No.102/11 on Old Railway Road, right near the Shiv Murti Chowk in Subhash Nagar. It’s a busy intersection, so there is always the sound of horns and people talking outside. B.D Trading operates out of an older building that has a lot of character, even if the stairs are a bit narrow. We use the ground floor mostly for the heavy stuff and the storage. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the boxes and items we keep on hand. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have known each other for a long time. We handle everything from the cleaning to the sales ourselves. The area near Shiv Murti Chowk is great because everyone knows where it is, so we never have to give long directions. Sometimes we get caught up chatting with the neighbors and the work goes a bit slower, but that’s part of being in a community like this. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. We just want to provide what people are looking for without a lot of fuss. The roof leaks a tiny bit when the monsoon is really heavy, but we’ve learned where to put the buckets. It’s just a normal, everyday business trying to keep things moving along. We like the noise and the energy of this part of Subhash Nagar.
