B R Air Conditioning & Batteries

We are located over at Sohna Chowk in Islampur. It is a very busy area with a lot of traffic. B R Air Conditioning & Batteries is basically a place where we deal with the stuff that keeps people cool and keeps the lights on. In the summer, it gets incredibly hot, so we are always out on our bikes going to different houses to fix AC units. They get clogged with dust and stop blowing cold air. It's a messy job, getting all that black water out of the machines. We also handle batteries and inverters because the power goes out quite a bit around here. People need their fans to keep spinning at night so they can sleep. Our shop is full of heavy lead batteries and different tools. It smells a bit like metal and plastic in here. I usually have grease on my hands by midday. We don't really have a big staff, just a few guys who know how to handle the wiring and the gas refills for the cooling units. When someone calls from Islampur or near Sohna Chowk, we try to get there quickly. It’s hard work, climbing up ladders and working on rooftops in the sun. But it's what we do. We've been at this spot for a while, and most people around the chowk know to come to us for battery issues or when their AC starts making a strange noise during the peak of June.
