If you look for Apra Motels, you will find us at H 109 on the University Campus in Kurukshetra. Being inside a campus area makes things a bit different than a normal hotel. We get a lot of parents visiting their kids or professors staying for a night or two. The atmosphere is generally quite calm, especially in the evenings when the students are back in their hostels. Haryana can get really hot, so we make sure the rooms stay cool enough for people to actually sleep. The building is an older one, so it has those thick walls and big windows that look out towards the greenery. We don't have a massive staff, just a few of us who handle the check-ins and make sure the towels are clean. Sometimes the local monkeys come near the windows, which is always a bit of a surprise for guests who aren't from around here. The plumbing can be a little temperamental if too many people use the showers at once, but we usually get it fixed pretty fast. It’s a simple setup really. We don't have a five-star dining room, just a decent place to rest your head if you're in town for university business. We’ve been at this spot for quite a while, and most of the regulars know us by name. It’s a quiet life here on the campus, and we just keep the doors open for whoever arrives.
