Apparel Export Promotion Council

We are based at 1262 in Palam Vihar, specifically in Block C-2 of Gurgaon. Our work is all about clothes and getting them sent out to other countries. The office is usually filled with fabric samples, different types of garments hanging on racks, and boxes waiting to be moved. It’s not a very quiet place because there is always someone checking a measurement or looking at a shipping label. Palam Vihar is a bit quieter than the main part of Gurgaon, which is nice for us. We spend a lot of time talking to manufacturers and people who run the factories. It’s a lot of logistics and checking details on pieces of clothing. Sometimes the samples don't look right and we have to start the whole process over again. We aren't a big flashy company; we just provide a space where the export side of things gets organized. Our team knows a lot about the garment industry just from being around it for so long. We have some older desks and chairs that have seen better days, but they work. It’s a very practical kind of atmosphere. We just try to keep the flow of apparel moving without hitting too many snags along the way. Most days involve a lot of checking lists and making sure the labels are all correct. It is a lot of paperwork to manage every week.
