Working out of D-29 in East Uttam Nagar is a bit different from the big shiny towers you see in other parts of New Delhi. We at Ameriprise India Private Ltd. have a more local feel here. The street is usually full of people and small shops, so there is always something to see out the window. Our daily life involves a lot of sitting at desks and handling various tasks on the computers. It’s a busy environment but not in a way that feels stressed out. We have our routines, like getting in early to beat the worst of the Delhi heat and making sure everything is set up for the day. The building itself is a standard one for this area, and we’ve made our space functional. We don't have a big cafeteria, so we usually bring our own food or grab something from the vendors nearby. The noise from the traffic in Uttam Nagar is like background music for us now. We spend a lot of time on calls or writing emails. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a bit of a rattle, but we don't mind it much. It’s a place where everyone knows each other’s names and we just get on with the job. It’s practical and simple, which is how we like to keep things. We focus on the work at hand and try to make the most of the space we have here.
