We are over here at C-223 in West Patel Nagar. It is a busy part of New Delhi, zip code 110008. If you know the area, you know how the streets get around here. American Express has been in this spot for a while now. Most days it’s just us doing what we need to do at our desks. There is a lot of paper and computers around. The windows look out onto the street and you can see people walking by all the time. Sometimes the traffic is loud, but you get used to it after a week or two. It is not a fancy place, just a regular office where work happens. We have a small kitchen area where people make tea. The floor is usually clean because someone comes by every morning. It feels like a normal part of the neighborhood. We don't have big signs or anything too flashy outside. It’s just a place to come and work from nine to five or whenever the work is finished. People here are mostly local, coming in from different parts of Delhi. We talk about the weather or how long the commute took today. West Patel Nagar has its own rhythm and we are just a small piece of that. Nothing more, nothing less. Just a group of people at C-223 trying to keep things moving. We have some plants that don't get enough light, but they survive somehow. The chairs are comfortable enough for a long day. It is a solid building.
