American Express

Our place is at H-2/15 in Krishna Nagar, right near Vijay Chowk in Delhi. If you know Delhi, you know how crowded it gets around here. American Express is the name, but our office feels more like a local hangout sometimes. The traffic at Vijay Chowk is honestly a nightmare every single evening. You can hear the horns honking even when the windows are shut tight. The street is narrow, and there are always rickshaws and delivery bikes zipping past. We have a small space, and we’ve had to cram a lot of stuff into it over the years. The floor is a bit worn out from all the walking, and the air conditioner makes a weird rattling noise when it’s been on too long. We don't really care about having a polished look. It’s more about just being here and doing the tasks. Lunch is usually something we get from the local vendors because the food in Krishna Nagar is actually pretty good. We know the neighbors pretty well, like the guy who runs the pharmacy next door. It’s a very loud, very busy part of Delhi, but it’s got a lot of life in it. We don't have a big reception area or anything. You just walk in and someone is usually there to talk to you. Sometimes the rain floods the front step, so we have to keep some old newspapers handy to dry things off.
