Our office is out in Sector 55 of Gurgaon, right in the City Cooperative Society on Plot 73. It is at number 173. It’s a pretty standard building, nothing too flashy on the outside. Inside, we handle a lot of the travel and credit card services that people use every day. There are rows of desks and people with headsets talking to customers about their accounts or their travel bookings. It gets quite busy during the middle of the day, and you can hear the hum of the air conditioning and the tapping of keyboards all the time. We have a break room where people grab coffee and talk about their weekend plans. The area around here has grown a lot, so there are always new shops and cafes popping up nearby. We deal with a lot of paperwork and digital records, making sure people's travel points and transactions are all correct. It’s a lot of sitting and looking at screens, but we try to keep things friendly among the staff. We’ve got a few potted plants by the windows to make it feel a bit more like a home. People come to work here from all over Gurgaon and Delhi. We just try to get through the daily list of tasks and help out the folks who call in with problems. It’s a steady rhythm of work that doesn’t really stop until the evening when the lights finally go down. We close up then.
