This office is tucked away in Gali No-7, Ashok Nagar, right near the Hanuman Mandir. It's a bit of a different vibe compared to the big Gurgaon buildings. Here at D-814, we handle various parts of the American Express India operations. The street can get pretty crowded, especially on days when the temple is busy and there are lots of people around. We’ve got a small group of people working here, and we’ve become quite familiar with the neighbors over the years. It’s a very local feel for an international name. We just come in, do the paperwork, and handle whatever comes across our desks. There’s no big corporate lobby or anything like that. Just a door and some stairs leading to where we sit. We deal with a lot of the back-end stuff that people don't usually see in the front offices. The air conditioning sometimes struggles in the summer heat, but we manage. Lunch breaks usually mean someone is running out to the local stalls on the main road to grab something quick. It’s just a regular workplace for us. We try to keep things simple and get the job done without too much fuss. Being in Ashok Nagar means we are right in the middle of a residential area, so it feels more like a community spot than a cold business center. We know the local shopkeepers and the rickshaw pullers around the lane quite well, which makes the morning commute a bit more friendly.
