Our office is sitting on the first floor at 24/8 in Ashok Nagar. It’s a decent enough spot in New Delhi, and being on the first floor means we don’t have to deal with too many stairs, which is nice when the elevator is acting up. The pin code is 110018 if you’re looking it up on a map. We’ve got a few rooms where we handle the daily paperwork and phone calls. It isn’t anything flashy, just desks and chairs and the usual stuff you’d expect to see in a working space. The neighborhood around here is mostly quiet during the middle of the day, though mornings are a different story with all the traffic coming through. We spend a lot of time just sitting at our desks making sure everything is moving along like it should. There’s a small tea stall not too far away where we usually go when we need a break from the screen. We try to keep the place tidy but with all the files and papers, it’s a constant battle. It feels like a real workplace, not some sterile corporate showroom. People come and go throughout the day, and we just try to stay on top of the list of things to do. Living and working in Delhi means you get used to the dust and the noise, and Ashok Nagar is no different. We just show up, do what needs doing, and head home when the sun goes down eventually.
