Our office is located at House Number 7 in Officers Colony Number 1, in the Civil Lines area of Gurgaon. This part of Gurgaon is very different from the new developments with the malls and high-rises. It is much quieter here and there are a lot of old trees lining the streets. We are in a regular house, which makes the workday feel a bit more relaxed. Amadeus India Private Limited has been using this space for a while now. We have several rooms set up for different tasks, and there is a small courtyard where we sometimes take our breaks. It is a nice change of pace to be in such a green and calm neighborhood. Most of our work involves sitting at computers and handling data, so having a quiet environment really helps. The walk from the main gate of the colony is quite pleasant in the mornings. We do not have any big corporate signs out front, so it just looks like another house on the street. Inside, it is all business, but with a more comfortable feel. We have a small pantry where we make tea and chat during the day. It is a very simple way of working. Most of us have been with the company for a while and we like coming to this specific location because it is so peaceful compared to the rest of the busy city.
