Allied Movers & Packers

Allied Movers & Packers operates out of 332 National Highway - 8. We are right on the main road and near the Telecom Service building, so we are pretty easy to spot. Being on the highway is important for us because we move things long distances. Our yard is usually full of trucks and there’s always someone loading or unloading crates. The office is just a small room where we keep our logs and take phone calls. It’s quite loud here with the trucks and cars zooming past on NH-8 all day long. We deal with a lot of dust and grease, so it’s not exactly a clean office environment. We have a crew of guys who are good at packing and loading. It’s a tough job and we don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just good old-fashioned muscle and lots of packing blankets. We’ve moved everything from small apartments to big office setups. Every day is a bit different depending on where the trucks are going. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking where our drivers are. Moving is a stressful time for our customers, so we just try to get in there and get the job done without making a fuss. We aren't a big international company, just a local team trying to keep the trucks moving and the customers sorted out. It’s a lot of hard work on the road, but we’ve been doing it at this location for years.
