Akash Earth Movers

You can find us over at Acharya Puri in Sector 53, specifically at plot 719. It’s a bit of a dusty place, mostly because of all the earthmoving equipment we have sitting around. We spend a lot of time out in the sun, making sure the machines are greased up and ready for whatever job comes next. The yard is usually full of heavy stuff, and there’s always a mechanic under one of the rigs checking the hydraulics. We aren't big on paperwork or sitting behind desks for too long; most of us prefer being outside where the actual work happens. The neighborhood knows us pretty well since we’ve been here a while. When someone needs a hole dug or some land cleared, they usually just walk in or give us a shout. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just digging, moving dirt, and making sure the equipment doesn’t break down in the middle of a site. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when it rains and the whole yard turns into a muddy mess, but we manage. We just keep our heads down and get through the list of tasks for the day. It’s a straightforward kind of life. There’s always another pile of dirt somewhere that needs to be moved, and that keeps us busy enough for now. The gate stays open until the sun goes down most days.
