We operate out of I/11 Shalimar Colony, which is in the Adrash Nagar area of Ajmer. It is a quiet enough spot for the most part, though you get the usual neighborhood sounds throughout the day. We spend our time here working on holiday bookings, mostly for people looking to head over to the UK. It is a bit of a reach from Rajasthan to the UK, but we manage it all from these desks. The office is pretty simple, just a few rooms in the colony where we keep our computers and all the travel brochures and files. We don’t have any big signs or fancy lobbies. It’s mostly just us answering emails and talking to customers on the phone. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of living and working in Ajmer. We like being in Shalimar Colony because it is not as hectic as the main city center. We have a small area where we make tea and eat our lunch together. Most of the work involves checking prices and dates and trying to find the right fit for people’s budgets. It is not glamorous work, but we have been doing it for a long time and we know how to get the details right. It’s just a regular local business setup where we show up and do the job every morning.
