Abir Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. is based over at 791/5 in Patel Nagar, Gurgaon. It’s one of those busy streets where you can always hear something going on outside. The office itself is tucked away, and we have a lot of maps and blueprints rolled up in the corners. We do a lot of infrastructure work, which means there are always people coming in with boots from some site or other. The desks are covered in calculators and pens that mostly don't work. We've got a small kitchen area where the kettle is almost always on because we drink way too much tea during the afternoon slump. 122001 is a crowded area, so parking is always a bit of a nightmare for the guys coming in. We don't have any fancy art on the walls, just some old calendars and a few photos of projects we finished years ago. The air conditioner is a bit loud, but you get used to it after ten minutes. It’s a practical workspace, not a showroom. We spend the day coordinating things and making sure the supplies get where they need to go. It’s mostly just hard work and a lot of talking on the phone to various contractors and suppliers who are stuck in traffic. That’s just how it goes here in Patel Nagar. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't, just a local team doing our jobs in this dusty part of Gurgaon.
