We operate out of Village Nosherha, which is out near Pathankot, right by the Tibri post office. Our setup is technically an LLP, and we go by the name Sirat Institute of Medical Services and Technology Organisation. Most people around here just know us as the place at Sohan Singh’s. It’s a bit of a rural spot, so it’s not like those big city hospitals with glass walls and revolving doors. We are rooted in the village life, and our days are dictated by the local rhythm. Being near Pathankot means we get people from all over the surrounding areas coming in for medical training or services. It’s a bit of a mix here between being an institute and a service provider. The roads around Nosherha can be dusty or muddy depending on the rain, but that doesn’t stop the work from happening. We keep things pretty simple. The office isn't overly decorated, and we focus more on the actual teaching and medical work than on looking important. It’s a family-oriented vibe because everyone knows everyone in a village like this. We’ve been part of the Tibri post office area for a while now. The staff mostly consists of people who grew up nearby. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation; we just want to provide what we can to the folks who live out this way. It’s honest work, and we stay busy with it.
